Pre-dan grading course 2019

Pre-Dan Grading Course at The Hut:

On Sunday 3 November Sensei William Timms held a Pre-Dan Grading Course at The Hut which was attended by five 1st Kyu students, one from The Hut and four from Kingston, plus one 1st Dan and one 2nd Dan from The Hut and Slough respectively. In addition there was a selection of higher Dan grades to act as training partners.

The object of the exercise was for Sensei Timms to assess the grading readiness of the candidates and to offer advice as to which areas of their technique would need improvement.

The course ended around 4pm after which many of the aikidoka adjourned to the bar of The Hut pub!
